Close To The Heart: Meaningful Personalized Gifts2 min read

Close To The Heart is a mommy made business, local to me in Moncton NB. I was told about this business through friends and also through instagram. I’m a big fan of personalizing and customizing items. I tend to be very sentimental- to the point where I like to collect pieces that are connected to memories.

Close To The Heart carries various gift ideas with the option to customize and personalize them. Gifts range from clothing, to sentimental items, to holiday traditional gifts.

Some of the customized pieces I’ve purchased are:

  • coffee mugs
  • socks
  • onesie
  • Christmas Bag

All items looked identical to pictures shown, and were customized to my satisfaction. I was able to choose writing, colours, and sizing. The turnaround time was quick, and because I live local I was able to pick up from her shop/house. Clothing related items were true to size. The coffee mug I bought for myself was decorative; but I did buy a pair of mugs as a gift and I’ve heard they wash well. The Christmas bag was durable and I’m very excited to include it in our yearly Christmas traditions. Customizing is made easy with a user friendly website.

Close To The Heart also sells larger brands such as Tula and Re-play.  The website is separated into sections: handmade (Larissa’s Work), Tula, Re-Play, Minimo, and This & That (brands such as Sweetooth and Brush Naked). It’s easy to navigate and purchase accordingly. New items are always being added, especially around season change and holidays.

You can really find a gift for anyone and everyone in your life at Close To The Heart. I personally have purchased gifts for weddings, Christmas, and thank yous. Larissa has wonderful customer service and is very easy to talk to.  If you decide to purchase you can use my code brandy10 on any handmade purchases, (you save 10%).
